Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; actively enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with at least one year of coursework.
• Able to follow proper precautions to avoid exposure to infectious agents, hazardous substances, noise, and heat.
• Good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination to work with equipment.
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must interact well with physicians, hospital staff, patients, and the public; able to work harmoniously in a team.
• Has basic computer skills; familiarity with The Joint Commission standards is helpful.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
