Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Respiratory Care Support role to assist the respiratory therapy team in delivering safe, compassionate patient care. You will help ensure equipment is clean, assembled and ready for use, and support respiratory therapists in routine and emergent tasks.
You will participate in preparing ventilators and devices, monitoring patient data, aiding with mask rotation to prevent injuries, and assisting with positioning as part of a collaborative care team.

Provides bedside support to the respiratory therapist by ensuring equipment is clean, available, properly assembled and in working and operable condition. Participates in supportive patient care tasks needed for the safe, timely and effective care of patients.
Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
