The only thing missing is you!** **\*Must be presently enrolled at GFC-MSU Respiratory Therapy program\***Assists a licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) while performing basic respiratory care procedures, patient preparation, and equipment setup. Observes and assists in the patient care delivery process under direct supervision, while developing foundational respiratory therapy skills within a competency-based framework established by the department. Functions within a defined scope of practice based on current educational preparation and verified competencies. All clinical activities are performed in accordance with hospital policy, department guidelines, regulatory standards, and HIPAA requirements. Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and confidentiality in all patient interactions.Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned.
