St. Luke's Health System in Twin Falls, Idaho seeks a Respiratory Therapy Apprentice (RRT non-certified) to assist on adult general inpatient units under supervision. Night shifts are 6pm-6am with potential weekend requirements and a night shift differential.

Qualifications

• Education: Current enrollment in a university program for respiratory therapy.
• Experience: 0 years' experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• The Respiratory Therapy Apprentice will assist in the therapy of individuals with healthcare issues affecting the cardiopulmonary system on adult general inpatient care areas excluding critical care.
• The RT Apprentice will be provided on shift support by a licensed Respiratory Therapist and will have documentation reviewed and countersigned.

Education

Current enrollment in a university program for respiratory therapy

Minimum of 3 semesters of preceptor clinical education
