Job summary

CALVERTHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a weekend alternate schedule. The role involves comprehensive respiratory care, assessment, and delivery of therapy protocols across the hospital.

Requirements include completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program and current state license (RRT preferred). CPR is required within 30 days of hire. Two plus years experience is preferred, with strong safety and teamwork values.

Responsibilities

• Assess, modify, and deliver respiratory therapy protocols across the hospital.

• Participate in cardiopulmonary services as needed; support patient care and safety.

JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

Job Summary :

Assessment, modification, and delivery of respiratory therapy protocols to meet the needs of patients throughout the hospital.

Education :

Position requires completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program.

Registration/Certification/Licensure :

Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner License, RRT preferred

Experience :

Position requires 0-6 months related experience

Other Requirements :

Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.

Two or more years of experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services preferred.

CPR required within 30 days of hire.
