Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our patient‑focused team. This role offers weekend night hours (7pm–7am) and requires an Associate's degree and active RRT licensure, plus BCLS, ACLS, and PALS within 60 days of hire. You will provide essential respiratory care, educate patients, and support critical care in adult units.

Qualifications

• RRT, BCLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences required.
• Active licensure as Respiratory Therapist in GA upon hire.
• No prior work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and respiratory care procedures in adult care areas.
• Conduct blood gas analysis and manage equipment and patient education.
• Follow protocols for critical care procedures and ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
