Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to support adult care units with patient assessments and respiratory therapies. This role requires current Georgia RRT licensure, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences. Weekend coverage is available, with a 7pm–7am shift.

The position emphasizes equipment maintenance, blood gas analysis, and patient education to ensure high-quality care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences required.
• RRT licensure and Georgia state licensure required.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
