Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a Full Time Night shift in Aurora, CO. The position covers complex respiratory care, ventilator management, and airway support in a high acuity environment.

The role requires completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, NBRC RRT, ACLS, and BLS with in-hand card, and offers a travel package and 72 hours per pay period across nights.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• One year of experience.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC required.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification with in-hand card prior to start date; valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and imaging procedures within a high acuity setting.
• Manage ventilator integration and airway management across care levels.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Department: UCHlth Resource Office -Metro-Denver

Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Nights

Pay: $50.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend

LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles

13 week assignments available - extension options

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• One year of experience
• Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• ACLS
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
