Covington Post Acute, located in Covington, Tennessee, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team for an every-other-weekend schedule. You will assess patients, administer treatments, and perform diagnostics while maintaining equipment and documentation.

Competenze

• Associate degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Minimum 6 months of experience.
• Preferably with experience in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Current license as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) as required by Tennessee.
• National Provider BLS or CPR - American Heart Association upon hire.

• Plan, prepare, and administer treatments such as IPPB, aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, incentive spirometry, and sputum inductions

• Inspect, test, maintain, and operate respiratory therapy equipment
• Respond to code blue emergencies, maintain airways, and perform CPR
• Instruct and supervise respiratory technicians

• Use resources and materials efficiently and safely
• Perform all duties promptly with competence and care
• Maintain a neat appearance and adhere to facility dress code policies

Position Overview:

While on assignment, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible and accountable to their assigned patients and to the client institution. The Respiratory Therapist is under the direct supervision of the Department Head or other assigned personnel and must have the ability to follow directions/instruction from his/her supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
