Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Morgantown is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for per diem/PRN coverage. You will evaluate patients, design treatment plans, and deliver respiratory care for critically ill patients under complex conditions.

Active NBRC credentials, BLS, and state licensure are required; ACLS is mandatory on hire. Per diem status may lead to flexible hours with opportunities for advancement and a substantial sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must possess NBRC CRT or RRT credential or state equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement in care delivery.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Location: Select Specialty Hospital - Morgantown

Schedule: Per Diem/PRN

Compensation: $40.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends

Sign on bonus: $7,500

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
