Kyeatright is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for full-time, 3rd shift at our Kentucky facility. The role involves delivering respiratory care per orders, assisting in both invasive and non-invasive ventilation, and performing diagnostic tests to guide treatment plans.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Respiratory Care with RRT certification; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. BLS is required within 90 days, and NRP within 6 months for neonatal work.

• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

**Summary****Job Description:****Respiratory Therapist (RRT)** Full-Time, 3rd Shift Respiratory Therapy The **Respiratory Therapy Department** provides specialized cardiopulmonary care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions. Respiratory therapists work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to assess, treat, and monitor patients experiencing breathing difficulties and cardiopulmonary disorders. The department plays a vital role in improving respiratory function, supporting critical care services, and promoting positive patient outcomes. The certified respiratory therapist assesses, treats, and monitors patients with respiratory diseases and conditions. This includes the delivery of medicated and non-medicated therapy as ordered by the provider. Additionally, therapists provide invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilator support for acute respiratory failure. As part of patient assessment and management, the therapist performs diagnostic test procedures. In addition, therapist assists in departmental operations by addicting with quality improvement projects, equipment, and supplies.
