Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide necessary respiratory care to patients in a variety of settings. Responsibilities will involve assessment and provision of respiratory support and monitoring for patients. Working collaboratively within the healthcare team, the therapist will ensure optimal patient outcomes through expertise in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Evaluate patient responses to therapies and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop respiratory care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for therapy sessions.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care techniques.

Required Experience

Candidates must have relevant experience in respiratory therapy, demonstrating competency in the management and delivery of respiratory care.

Certifications/Licensure

Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist and BLS certification are required. Other certifications may be preferred.
