Job summary

CareRite Centers seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist in a skilled nursing facility. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with cardio-pulmonary and respiratory conditions, develop treatment plans, and ensure high standards of care across the rehab team.

You will maintain documentation, participate in program development, and work with nursing and admin to meet OBRA and regulatory requirements. On-site role with a focus on safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of respiratory care and therapies.
• Leadership and management abilities.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of clinical terminology and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems to enhance the facility's reputation as a respiratory therapy provider.
• Monitor revenue, productivity and gross profit margins for the department.
• Contribute to professional development of staff and maintain licensure.
• Collaborate with facility staff to support respiratory therapy program.
• Provide patient treatments per clinical procedures and obtain physician approvals.
• Document accurately per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate safe working practices and maintain equipment.
• Coordinate with discharge planners and care teams.
