Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and licensure in NY.
• Current license in the state of practice as required.
• Additional relevant education/experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains systems to enhance the facility's reputation as a premier respiratory therapy provider.
• Monitor departmental finances, revenue, productivity, and gross margin against goals.
• Contribute to staff development, provide orientation, and ongoing education.
• Maintain compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide patient treatments and develop treatment plans with physician approvals.
• Document care accurately and timely, including billing-related notes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and discharge planners for optimal care.
• Demonstrate safe working practices and maintain equipment and environments.
