Role:

Registered Respiratory Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and providing patient respiratory care in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

Conducts thorough patient assessments, develops care plans, performs therapeutic modalities (such as aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and secretion management), manages mechanical ventilators, and provides patient and family education. Assists with airway management, intra-hospital transport, and invasive procedures like bronchoscopy and monitoring line placement. Ensures compliance with safety standards and maintains patient confidentiality.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate from a specialty training program in respiratory therapy, with knowledge of evidence-based practices, protocol-driven care, and collaboration with medical teams. Ability to operate advanced equipment and manage emergency airway situations. Strong communication and documentation skills.
