Universal Health Services is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RCP) at Inland Valley and Rancho Springs Hospitals in California. You will assess, treat, and manage patients with breathing disorders, float between facilities as needed, and ensure licensure, certification, and quality care are maintained.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, patient education, and collaboration with the care team; experience in NICU/observation areas is valued, with ongoing competency validation.

Formación

• Must have Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy required
• Current California RCP license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications preferred or required

Responsabilidades

• Maintains all required licenses and certifications.
• Completes annual clinical competencies.
• Performs Cardiac Diagnostic Testing – EKGs.
• Understands indications/contraindications of mechanical ventilation.
• Assists with bronchoscopies.
• Performs ABG sampling and analysis.
• Maintains ABG analyzers and QC.
• Ensures safe and timely work.
• Documents accurately.
• Orders supplies as needed.
• Keeps up-to-date on respiratory care practices.
• Works to complete 24/7 staffing needs.
