Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care, oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support across patient ages in healthcare settings. You will conduct therapies, monitor oxygen and ventilation, review data, educate staff and patients, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

This role requires licensure, NBRC certification, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and NICU NRP if applicable;

Qualifications

• Associate degree and state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• NBRC certification, BLS, and ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• NRP certification required for NICU.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and advanced respiratory therapies.
• Monitor and wean oxygen and ventilation support.
• Analyze arterial blood gases and EKGs.
• Assist with airway management and procedures.
• Educate patients and staff on respiratory care.

Role:

Respiratory Therapist responsible for providing respiratory care, oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

Perform therapeutic procedures, monitor and wean oxygen and ventilation, analyze arterial blood gases and EKGs, assist with airway management, educate patients and staff, and ensure documentation of clinical information. Maintain certifications, stay updated on procedures, and comply with healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree, current state license as a Respiratory Therapist, certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care, BLS certification, and ACLS within 90 days of hire. Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required for NICU.

Skills:

Proficiency with computer systems and data entry, strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy exertion and exposure to infectious materials.

Key Duties:
