Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Canton is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for PRN/Per Diem. In this role you will evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans, provide respiratory care to critically ill patients, and support post-ICU recovery in our unit.

Minimum requirements include an active NBRC CRT or RRT credential, current state licensure, and BLS by start date; ACLS is required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.

Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Per Diem/ PRN

Schedule: PRN/Per Diem/As Needed

Compensation: $43.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $2,500 for PRN Days, $5,000 for PRN Nights

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
