Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the NICU and pediatric units to provide comprehensive respiratory care across modalities under hospital policies. You may work with Respiratory Students in clinical care settings.

Required qualifications include NBRC-CRT or NBRC-RRT, state license, BLS, and PALS (with instructor eligibility within 30 days). We offer a robust benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• NBRC-CRT or NBRC-RRT certification required.
• State license for Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner.
• BLS certification required; PALS required within 30 days.
• Neonate resuscitation certification due within 90 days of start date.
• PALS instructor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care in NICU and pediatric patient populations.
• Execute assignments in accordance with hospital policies.
• Potentially supervise respiratory therapy students in clinical care.

Job Summary And Qualifications

It is the responsibility of the staff respiratory therapist to demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care with additional competency in NICU and Pediatric patient care. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for execution of assignments. All care will be in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies. May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Certificate
• (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist, or (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist
• (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor Required
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
