Lincare seeks a Respiratory Therapist/Nurse to join our home care team in Florida. You will set up, operate, and educate patients on CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and related equipment while ensuring safe, effective use in the home environment.

This role emphasizes hands-on equipment setup, patient instruction, and maintaining accurate records, with after-hours on-call as needed and ongoing training opportunities provided by the company.

Responsabilités

• Set up, operate, and educate on home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP machines, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and ventilators
• Inspect, test, and adjust home medical equipment to ensure safe and efficient function
• Review prescription and patient information to assess condition and determine suitable treatment administration per physician orders
• Maintain patient records in a complete and organized manner in compliance with accreditation standards
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and related concepts
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed; frequency determined by center size and staff availability

Lincare is currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing team. This employee is responsible for the setup of home medical equipment, including ventilators, monitors, CPAP/BiPAP units, and/or other related equipment. The employee will also educate and train patients on the proper usage of prescribed equipment.

• Review prescription and patient information to assess condition and determine suitable treatment administration, compatible with physician orders
• Maintain patient records in a complete and organized manner in compliance with accreditation standards
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and relevant respiratory therapy concepts
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed
