Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide routine and advanced respiratory care, manage ventilators, and implement cardiorespiratory protocols. The role includes supporting high-acuity patients and NICU responsibilities as needed.

The position is full-time at 0.90 FTE with 12-hour night shifts. Candidates should have an Associate degree or higher in Respiratory Care, state licensure in NM, NBRC-registered credentials, and current ACLS/PALS

Qualifications

• Two to three years of college-level study or an associate diploma in Respiratory Care.
• New Mexico licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner; NBRC RRT credential.
• ACLS/PALS and BLS required; prior critical care exp preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and advanced respiratory care and ventilator management.
• Assist physicians with bronchoscopy procedures and sedation safety.
• Initiate ventilator protocols and manage advanced airway care.
• Monitor high-frequency ventilators; NICU duties include surfactant delivery and intubation.
• Initiate and monitor nitric oxide delivery; perform other department duties.
