Job summary

Autumn Woods Healthcare Facility in Michigan is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team on the night shift. The role provides clinical direction, delivers respiratory care, and coordinates with doctors and staff to meet patient needs.

Starting pay is $35.15 to $40.21 per hour, plus a Michigan Direct Care Incentive of $3.40. A CRT or RRT license and CPR certification are required, with one year of experience preferred in long-term care.

Qualifications

• CRT or RRT license and AMA-approved respiratory care program graduate.
• State Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• CPR certification valid.
• Ventilator experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory care within the practitioner scope and documents in patient charts.
• Tests patients for qualifying clinical needs and submits information to the facility.
• Maintains respiratory equipment and stores supplies properly.
• Manages routine mail, phone calls, and paging as needed.
• Communicates with staff and physicians regarding clinical and operational issues.
• Assesses patient respiratory needs and ventilator status.
