Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Specialist to deliver comprehensive respiratory care in line with physician orders and protocols. You will assess therapy effectiveness and support ventilator functions during cardiopulmonary resuscitation in ICU and designated areas.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited respiratory therapy degree, a current state license, and mandatory RRT certification.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Current state license and mandatory RRT certification.
• BLS, NRP, and PALS may be obtained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care per physician orders or protocols.
• Evaluate therapy effectiveness and support ventilator function during CPR.
• Operate and maintain life support equipment in ICUs and designated areas.

Performs duties in alignment with organizational mission, values, and standards, maintaining life support equipment in intensive care units and designated areas.

• Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program, current state license, and mandatory certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, and PALS (may be obtained upon hire).
• Skills: Critical thinking, adaptability, and clinical judgment to implement medical care and procedures effectively.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree, neonatal/pediatric intensive care experience, NPS certification, and additional advanced skills.
