Scripps Mercy Chula Vista Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the Respiratory Therapy department. This part-time position supports 12-hour shifts (0600-1830 or 1800-0630) at Mercy Chula Vista Hospital in Chula Vista, CA.

The role is part of our RCP new grad program with a full-time training period before transitioning to a part-time schedule. You will work with a collaborative team to deliver patient-centered respiratory care and participate in quality initiatives.

Qualificações

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with the public.
• Must be able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English.
• Technically competent; computer literate.
• Current California RCP license.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates respiratory care actions.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to respiratory care.
• Responds to critical situations.
• Uses hospital computer systems for duties.
• Adheres to hospital and department policies.
• Participates in quality control and performance improvement activities.
