Job summary

Washington Square Nursing & Rehab in Warren, Ohio is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver specialized care to residents with respiratory conditions. You will assess, treat, and monitor residents, administer oxygen therapy and nebulizer treatments, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize care.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license.
• CRT or RRT credential through NBRC.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical judgement and teamwork abilities.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and manage residents with respiratory conditions.
• Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and chest physiotherapy.
• Monitor ventilator-dependent residents and adjust settings as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow care protocols.
• Educate staff, residents, and families on respiratory care and safety.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility policies.
