Location:Miramar, FloridaPatients depend on our team for the best in evidence-based care and innovative therapies, such as inhaled nitric oxide, high-frequency oscillation, and invasive and non-invasive ventilator support modalities. Opportunities exist for motivated Registered Respiratory Therapists (and Certified Respiratory Therapy Technicians) with the skills to provide a high level of quality service in a variety of settings including the ED, Trauma and Critical Care.Summary:Serves as resource and mentor for less experienced therapists providing care for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.** Experience in PFT preferred; 2 shifts weekly; 7a - 7p **Responsibilities:Delivers and assesses response to ordered therapy per plan of care. Monitors, documents, and communicates patient condition.Maintains requirements of Clinical Ladder.Educates the patient and family about the patient's illness and provides information about community support groups and other resources. Assists with providing staff education.Responds to codes and calls for emergent assistance.
