Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required.
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist either Registered (RT) or Certified (CRT) by Florida or Compact State.
• Licensure required: Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care therapies and monitor patient responses.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders for respiratory care.
• Assess patients and adjust treatments based on observations.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care.
• Maintain safety and document procedures accurately.
• Operate and sterilize equipment and manage ventilation systems.
