Qualifications

• Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy required; Bachelor's preferred.
• NBRC-RRT certification required.
• RCP (Respiratory Care Professional) credential recommended.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service and supports patient care delivery.
• Completes patient care, documentation and education.
• Functions in a team-oriented environment.
• Administers aerosolized meds, bronchial hygiene and O2 therapy.
• Manages ventilators, performs weaning and airway care.
• Performs arterial blood gas collection and analysis.
• Educates patients and mentors staff and students.
