Job summary

Kettering Health in Miamisburg is seeking a Respiratory Therapist I for every weekend commitment (EWC) on a part-time basis. You will assess, treat and care for patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders across the lifespan, delivering interventions and educating families to support recovery.

Certification requirements include Ohio RCP license and NBRC RRT, with BLS and ACLS to be obtained within 30 days of hire. Associate degree required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from a CoARC-accredited program.
• Completion of clinical rotations in an accredited program.
• Current OH license as RCP and NBRC RRT credential; BLS/ACLS within 30 days of hire.
• No additional experience required for entry-level roles.

Required Education

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) or equivalent as required by Ohio law.

Required Work Experience

• Completion of clinical rotations as part of an accredited respiratory therapy program
• no additional experience required for entry-level roles.

Required Licenses, Certifications, And Registrations

• Current and valid license as a Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) issued by the State Medical Board of Ohio. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification by the American Heart Association, to be obtained prior to or within 30 days of hire.
