Responsibilities

• Respond to cardiopulmonary emergencies with airway management and ventilatory support.
• Administer gases, inhaled medications, and humidity therapy.
• Obtain, review, and interpret data; assess and adjust care plans.
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis and related procedures.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapy self-management and equipment use.
