Job summary

Mercy Springfield is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, per physician orders. You will consult on therapy effectiveness and serve as a resource for physicians and nursing staff.

This GIG offers competitive hourly pay with $35/hr for RRT and $30/hr for CRT, plus flexible day/night shifts, W-2 employment, and incentive opportunities. No weekend or major holiday requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Hold NBRC credentials: RRT or CRT; PALS for ER; ACLS required.
• One year of experience required, not including orientation.
• Physical demands include pushing/pulling/grip up to 50 lbs, kneeling and crouching.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required. ACLS is required.
• Experience: Must have one year of experience, not to include time on orientation.
• Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.
• Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
• Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
