Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Alle Kiski is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for full-time night shifts. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, providing respiratory care, managing endotracheal tubes, and promoting quality improvement. Active NBRC credential, current state licensure, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months are required.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Minimum graduation proof is required, with preferred college transcripts.

Qualifications

• Must hold NBRC CRT or RRT credential.
• Proof of graduation required (transcript/diploma or GED).
• Current state licensure is required.
• BLS certification by start date.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire (for agency staff ACLS on first shift; PRN ACLS on hire).

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients and families.

Position: Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT)

Location: Select Specialty Hospital - Alle Kiski

Schedule: Full Time, Night Shift

Compensation: $28.61 - $39.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
