Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - West TN in Jackson, TN is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our acute care team. The role offers a full-time, 12-hour shift schedule with day and night options, and a competitive hourly pay up to $38 based on experience, plus a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

You will evaluate patients, provide respiratory therapy, assist with airway management, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential is required.
• Proof of graduation transcript/diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification by start date is required.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Schedule: Full Time - 12 Hour Shifts - Day Shift 7:00a-7:00p & Night Shift 7:00p-7:00a

Compensation: Up to $38.00 per Hour, Based off of Experience

Sign on Bonus: $15,000

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
