Mercy seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy under physician orders.

You will consult with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy and act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care.

Requirements include graduation from a CoARC-approved respiratory care program, current RCP license, NBRC RRT credential, and ACLS/PALS as applicable; physical demands apply.

Qualificações

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• PALS required for ER personnel.
• ACLS preferred.
• Critical care experience preferred.

Position Details:

QualificationsEducation: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program. Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license. Experience: None. Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required. Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices. Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred Licensure: Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience. Preferred Certifications: Preferred Other:
