Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to support patient care with pulmonary diagnostics, ventilator operation, and therapies across multiple Wisconsin zones.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with a minimum of an associate degree.
• Licensure: RCP license in the practicing state; NBRC credentials (RRT or CRT) per NBRC requirements.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Operate ventilators and assist physicians with procedures.
• Deliver inhalation therapy and medications as ordered.
• Educate patients on therapy goals and self-care.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and ensure safety.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize patient care.
• Provide handoffs clearly and timely.
