Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Respiratory Therapist license in FL required within 120 days post-graduation.
• Active enrollment in AS Respiratory program; completion of first year required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes and best practices.
• Delivers and assesses response to ordered therapy per plan of care.
• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient condition.
• Educates patient and family about illness and available community resources.
• Responds to codes and calls for emergent assistance.
• Assesses patient condition and delivers appropriate treatment.
