Job summary

Medical City Dallas is hiring a Respiratory Therapist CRTT to join our team. The role requires proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care and collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams, in accordance with hospital policies.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an NBRC-recognized program, be licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Texas, and hold NBRC CRT credential plus current BLS. Experience preferred; training and mentorship available.

Qualifications

• Graduated from NBRC-recognized school for Respiratory Care.
• One year of experience in Respiratory Care preferred.
• Must be credentialed as CRT by NBRC upon hire.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care and multidisciplinary skills.
• Execute assignments in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies.
• May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting.

Job Summary And Qualifications

It is the responsibility of the staff respiratory therapist to demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care and other multidisciplinary assigned skills as defined by training and competency demonstration. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for execution of assignments. All care will be in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies. May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by the NBRC.
• One-year experience in Respiratory Care preferred.
• Must be credentialed as CRT by NBRC upon hire.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.
