Job summary

Baptist Health in Louisville, KY is seeking a Respiratory Therapist CRT/RRT for a full-time day shift. The successful candidate will demonstrate solid knowledge in respiratory care practices, procedures and techniques and be responsible for the patients assigned.

The role requires completion of an accredited respiratory care program, NBRC CRT/RRT certification, active Kentucky license, BCLS within one week of hire and ACLS within six months.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Care program.
• NBRC CRT/RRT certification required.
• Active Kentucky Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• BCLS due within 1 week of hire and prior to direct patient care.
• ACLS due within 6 months of hire.

Demonstrates a solid knowledge and working proficiency in the skills of Respiratory Care practices, procedures and techniques and is responsible for the patients that are assigned to his/her care within the practices of Respiratory Care.

Requirements

• Requires successful completion of accredited program for Respiratory Care.
• NBRC Certification Required (CRT/RRT).
• Active Kentucky Respiratory Care Practitioner License Required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) due within 1 week one hire and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) due within 6 months of hire.
