The Staff Pad is partnering with a premier healthcare organization in Blue Ridge, GA to hire a compassionate Respiratory Therapist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in their Respiratory Department.

You will perform respiratory assessments, treatments, and procedures, collaborate with physicians and nurses, and provide guidance to staff while maintaining respiratory therapy equipment in a high-achievement environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of hospital/healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision & remain calm under pressure.
• Strong critical thinking, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic procedures.
• Monitor and manage patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide clinical guidance, education, and technical support to healthcare staff.
• Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment.
• Respond effectively in high-pressure, emergency and critical care situations.
• Support additional departmental and patient care duties as needed.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients across a variety of settings. You'll work closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent respiratory care and support positive patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities include:

• Performing respiratory assessments, treatments, diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic procedures

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Georgia Respiratory Care Professional License required
• NBRC Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and NRP certifications preferred
• All certifications must remain active throughout employment
