Job summary

Baptist Health in Alabama is seeking a Respiratory Therapist CRT/RRT for full-time day shifts at Baptist Medical Center South. The candidate will provide pulmonary care, coordinate with physicians and the respiratory care team, and contribute to patient progress and care plans.

The position requires a degree in Respiratory Therapy with RRT/CRT credentials, active LRT and NBRC CRT, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on the area assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• RRT/CRT required or to be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Active LRT (ASBRT) and NBRC CRT; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties involved with treatment, management, and care of patients in pulmonary system.
• Communicate with physicians and respiratory team regarding patient progress and care plans.
• Fulfill additional duties within scope of role as assigned.
