Qualifications

• Diploma or GED completed; relevant degree preferred.
• Active Kentucky Respiratory Therapist licensure.
• 3+ years of cardiopulmonary experience preferred.
• Active BLS/ACLS/PALS or within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist CRT with patient care as directed.
• Deliver routine therapy as delegated.
• Respond to codes and emergent calls.
• Assess patient condition and provide treatment.
• Educate patients and families about illness and resources.
• Stock and distribute respiratory supplies.
• Maintain equipment and perform prep and calibration.
