Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide skilled respiratory care and work closely with patients and families to support healing. The role requires NBRC-credentialed CRT and current state licensure, with a focus on compassionate patient education and collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of respiratory care plans, as well as medication administration and commitment to lifelong learning.

Qualifications

• Recent clinical respiratory care experience and/or previous respiratory care practice with current state license.
• 1 year hospital experience preferred.
• RRT credential or NBRC certification and valid state license should be held.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient and develop a plan of care.
• Implement and evaluate the plan of care.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Collaborate with the care team to improve health care delivery.
• Provide clinical leadership and support ongoing learning.
• Complete assigned goals.
