Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide specialized respiratory care in its California facilities.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and regulatory compliance, with potential cross-facility coverage at Inland Valley and Rancho Springs hospitals. The ideal candidate will hold an RRT credential, an active California license, and an associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, plus BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; NBRC RRT credential and California RCP license required.
• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy is required or must be maintained throughout employment.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP and PALS certifications.
• Must maintain licensure and credentials; HIPAA compliance expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide Respiratory Care Practitioner services to patients as assigned.
• Proctor and mentor other RCPs on clinical competencies and new procedures.
• Float to Inland Valley and Rancho Springs facilities as needed with proper orientation.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory practices and staying current on required licenses and certifications.
