Job summary

PAM Health hospitals are seeking a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform routine and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, maintain equipment, and support phlebotomy and basic lab testing. The role emphasizes compassionate care for chronically and critically ill patients.

Applicants must hold state licensure, BLS certification, ACLS, and prefer at least one year of clinical respiratory experience; weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS certification.
• Must possess and maintain current ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure may be required depending on state.
• High school diploma required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of clinical respiratory experience preferred.
• Requires one weekend and one holiday shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals.
• Maintain all respiratory care equipment in working order.
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.
• Care for chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care.
