Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS certification is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work 12-hour shifts and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Administer medications and oxygen therapy as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate patients and families on management, medications, and breathing techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop treatment plans.
• Monitor and record patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and provide life support in accordance with scope of practice.
