Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer diagnostic and therapeutic breathing treatments and manage ventilation support for patients in the Wound Care Center. The role includes assessing treatment effectiveness and communicating findings to the care team.

The candidate will perform bedside care, respond to emergencies, and ensure safety and quality in all respiratory interventions based on NBRC-RRT credentials and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (Required).
• NBRC-RRT registry and CPR certification.
• Driver’s license required if in Home Care department.

Responsibilities

• Administers diagnostic and therapeutic breathing treatments as ordered.
• Manages ventilation support and airway clearance procedures.
• Collects and records patient data and responses to treatments.
• Responds to critical events and emergency respiratory care needs.
• Prepares treatments, medications, and equipment for bedside use.
• Maintains patient airway management within policy and safety guidelines.
