Job summary

Crosswalk Health is hiring Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT or RPFT) to perform simple spirometry testing at primary care clinics in Columbia, South Carolina. The role offers daytime, flexible scheduling with clinical autonomy and meaningful patient impact.

Ideal candidates are dependable, adaptable, and professional, with experience in bedside PFTs, ability to travel within 45 minutes, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have experience performing bedside or complete PFTs.
• Understanding possible side effects of albuterol administration.
• Comfortable working independently and traveling locally (within a 45 minute radius).
• Not required but desired bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post simple spirometry testing with a handheld device.
• Prepare and coach patients through testing to ensure comfort and accuracy.
• Accurately grade each effort and upload results remotely for physician review.
• Monitor patient safety during procedures.
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety protocols.
• Represent Crosswalk Health professionally at each clinic site.

1,200.00 - 1,500.00 USD per week (South Carolina)
