Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist in Louisiana
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) credentialed
• Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred or required

Responsibilities

• Manage ventilators and adjust settings per patient needs.
• Assist with arterial punctures and airway management.
• Support high-acuity Code III responses and emergencies.
• Assist with bronchoscopies and intubations as needed.
• Deliver therapies (oxygen, aerosol, CPT, IPPB, incentive spirometry).
• Monitor equipment for safe operation and infection control.
