Job summary

Medix is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Massachusetts. Start ASAP; night shift 6:30pm–7:00am. Compensation: $1,500–$2,040 per week gross, includes up to $1,500 per week in stipends.

Responsibilities include intubation, vent management, ABGs, bronchoscopy support, EKGs, and code response in LTACH/adult population. Requires active MA license; RRT or CRT preferred; BLS/CPR and ACLS; strong ICU background.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts license required.
• RRT or CRT certification preferred.
• BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong ICU/critical care background essential.

Responsibilities

• Intubation, ventilation management, ABGs, and codes when needed.
• Support bronchoscopy and EKG procedures.
• Operate with LTACH/sub-acute adult patients (18+).
• Use listed equipment daily and ensure patient safety.

Compensation: $1,500-2,040/Week Gross (Includes up to $1500/Week in Stipends)

Duration: 13 Weeks

Start Date: ASAP

Shift/Schedule: Night Shift 6:30pm - 7:00am

Responsibilities

• Ability to clinically intubate, manage vents, perform ABGs, assist with bronchoscopy, perform EKGs, and run effective codes in the absence of an on-site physician
• Equipment & Modalities: Dräger Savina 300, Puritan Bennett 840, Respironics V60, High-Flow systems (Airvo/Optiflow), standard therapeutic modalities (No PFTs)
• 27-33 patients typically (can go up to 40)
• Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH / Sub-acute) | adult population (18+ only, no peds)
