Job summary

Encompass Health is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care, supervise breathing treatments, and develop personalized care plans in a supportive inpatient rehabilitation setting.

The role requires current Respiratory Therapy licensure, CPR certification, and preferably ACLS. Prior hospital experience is commonly preferred for this position, with opportunities for professional growth within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
